Is there any hardware and program to find how much gas remains in the cylinder?
it will be useful for people who have only one cylinder to book for the next one before they totally run out of gas. Is it possible to find one like that?
 

Yes, you can find it in car gas conversion kits. I think gas companies wont let you to do that. (Safety of the customer). Confirm with your dealer first before using it.

Yes...thaz possible by measuring the weight of the cylinder. May be by an analogue or a digital weighing platform. When the gas level reduces, so will the weight. remainder will be the weight of the cylinder. Cheers
 

Mostly the carz which run on Natural Compressed Gas (CNG) uses the Gas pressure sensor to measure the Level of Gas in the cylinder. . .
 

I'd second Pranam on this. In labs, shops, other stationary installations, weighing is commonly used to estimate the amount of gas left in the cylinder.

Pressure is also a function of temperature (among other things).
