Hi people

I am an ECE Graduate student in MSU. We currently have access 130nm and 500nm IBM tech. However we are in need of 180nm and 250nm as well and I'm currently looking for a program that includes these technologies.

Do you guys know of any program who do Fab runs for academia with those technologies ?
Which of the currently available fabrication facilities are superior to your knowledge ?

Now I am not lazy and I am actively looking into the issue, however, I will appreciate if you pointed me to the right direction.

Best Regards

TowerJazz runs 0.35 and 0.18, I think 0.13 at Newport Beach.
Some flows have HV devices, RF passives, etc. available too.
OnSemi has some nice flows down to 0.11 at Gresham and
a bunch of power management variants in the 0.18 & up
range. Both of these outfits run multiprojects internally and
I've been told that if you're creating useful IP for their "IP
stores" you can get some breaks on the cost of a ride.
You can check with MOSIS about scheduled runs as well
but there's more going on below the surface, at the foundries.

I don't know what your values are, to say which might be
"superior". Sometimes that boils down to "the one that would
return my phone calls".

Thank you

Does any of these companies offer discount or free rides for academic institutions ?
