To all:

I have a multilayer gerber file that I can view with cam350. However, I cannot import it into Protel 99. The screen is blank after the import !! How hard can this be ?? I want to use part of the gerber in a new layout. I know the symbols will not be preserved from the source program. I just want to get the traces imported. HOW ?? Please help.

You should check the format of your gerber file whether is suitable for protel. For this, you could first create gerber file from protel and compare with what you have. Then you can modify to have the suitable one for protel.
