I am trying to import a DEF from silicon ensemble into IC5033. What happens is it does get added into the library, etc. Except, all of the instantiated cells are abstract view and not layout view.

Does anyone know what im doing wrong?

thanks

are you sure layout view exists in you DEF file?
maybe only abstract view exits,
many library and IP core you get from other company only have abstract view

well its split into different libraries.. seperate ones for core cells, one for pads, etc.. but they do contain a layout view for every cell.. in fact if i manually edit the properties of say, 1 pad, to layout from abstract then i see it. im just not sure how to change them all to layout.
