I can't translate it, but can show you something similar:

You use RS232 protocol at the input and the board translates it to RS485.

Hello,
at **broken link removed** the chat 485 convert the RS232 to RS485.
It used the power of the RS232 line (or ext).
work at 9600bauds, or more or less, RC timing.
No CPU... and only TX,RX.
ask for the schematic (free), because it was describe in the french paper.
