binocular transformer

i need a homemade impedance transformer about 900-1500 Mhz. in 1:2.5 ratio

any ideas ll be appreciated.

thx.

impedance transformer -ferrite uhf

if is for reception a small binocular transformer made by 8:5 turns ratio can be done good results. Since 8/5 = 1.6 and (1.6)^2 = 2.56 close to desired ratio.

Try also a quarter wave transformer made by microstrip. Multisection transformer gives you broadband performance, but I think one section is satisfactory around 1 octave.

Best regards

what about the inductive reactance of wire?? in that frequency range
