hi
i want to know how to use the
1-smith chart utility
2-impedance matching utility
in ADS
to design a impedance transformer using single stub??
thank you
You start at the load and come back towards the generator until the real part of the impedance is what you want. Then convert the impedance at that point to an admittance in rectangular for. You then put a stub of length which has the opposite sign of the imaginary part of the admittance in parallel with the line at that point.
You can get the help from
ADS installation directory\doc\smithchartutil\Introducing_the_Smith_Chart_Utility.html
