I have a current output and single-ended DAC, and an ADC.
I'm trying to connect the output of the DAC and the input of the ADC as follows.

Now DAC applies a sine wave form toward the ADC. R(50 ohm) is a load resistor for the ADC to take the DAC output,
and the characteristic impedance of the trace which connects between the DAC and the ADC is 50 ohm as well.

Here are two questions about this.
1. If DAC has 50 ohm its output impedance, then there is no problem with impedance matching?
Of course, we cannot modify DAC output impedance, but I just want to check this for my knowledge.

2. In the above figure, if I insert impedance matching circuit (designed using smith chart) at point 'A' denoted '*', then the impedance can be matched?

Thanks.
