Hi to everyone,
I'm an EE student. My main specialty is automation and control. I've decided to embark on intensive work on microcontrollers. I've ordered some books from Amazon. I intend to undertake as many projects as possible. I intend to learn the following microcontrollers: 8051,PIC and motorola families.
I know a bit of C/C++ and assembler for the IBM PC.
My main problem is:
Where can I buy a 8051 microcontroller and all it's accessories?
What accessories and software do i need? What is the estimated the cost?

Your help would be very much appreciated.

hai
welcome to the world of microcontrollers
i think first u have to learn any of the microcontroller
to understand the fundamentals
then u can learn all the others
the evaluation frre copy of almost all softwares are available
from the net
which i think the better way of learning before buying it
start trying some simple programs
and see how it works
all the materials u need will be available from the internet
try any search engines and find out the distributor of your area

all the best
