I looking for a free compiler for Microchip 16f877 for non professional user abd student. Thanks for your help.

Sorry I forgot to tell you I'm looking for a C compiler, I'm working on a prototyping board for lerning Pic MCU. I what a free C compiler for student and non professionnal thanks for your help.

Then try the free version of Hi-Tech PICC Compiler:
https://www.htsoft.com/products/piclite/piclite.html

For 16F877 it has a limitation of 2048 words of code size, but for most basic-level applications it should be enough.

It is available for both Windows and Linux.
