U need to do it through the Sweep option (Present at the end of PSS analysis form)in the PSS Analysis if you want exact answers. Use port instance for your input signal from analogLib provided....

Use the power in dB option available in the input port instance.....give a variable there and specify tht varible in the swept varible, in the PSS analysis....suitably choose the input power range....make sure tht the input impedance of your mixer is equal to port 's source resistance....

After the simulation you can directly observe the result from the result options available in PSS analysis Direct Form options..

Choose carefully your fundamental and third harmonic with handwritten equations.....

Hello;
Really thank you
i follow the cadence doc but when i did IIP3 by run PSS & PAC
1 st order harm down than 3 rd order harm.....?

another Q

conv. gain by pss & pxf result in -50db however transient analysis say"there is a gain more than 10 db"

One point that people miss while following those tutorials is that port instance at ouptput and input. They should be given a proper source resistnace, according to your circuit. Dont follow blindly the same procedure if you are designing with CMOS as the given examples are with Bipolar transistor.

Calculate appropriately your input and output port resistances. You can mesure the results of nets in PSS and PAC analysis. You need not to connect ports at the output side.
