hi,
I have designed a mixer which has -1.477dBm 1dB compression point, but for the same I am unable to simulate the IIP3, RF frequncy is 2.4GHz and LO is 2.3GHz for this
mixer...please help......

Thanks in advance
uday

Isn't there a relationship between IIP3 and CP1 of xdBm? You could find it in razavi's book.

Use 2 sine waves @ F1 & F2 with -10dBm and do harmonic balance simulations in spectre. Get F1-F2 amplitude subtract 10dBm (F1 amplitude) and you will get IIP3. Theoretically it should be ~10dB less than P1dB

Hi,
Is it less or more?I think IIP3 is 10dB more than the 1dB compression.

thanks.....
