i am new to iic. how to understand Philips I2C Version 2.1 - 2000.
easy tutorial needed or link.

Here's an implementation of I2C in VHDL with source download:

CoolRunner-II CPLD I2C Bus Controller Implementation Xilinx Appnote

You can study it and port it to a FPGA of your choice.
