if two materials with different sheet resistance are parallel,
is total sheet resistance decrease or increase ?

tks

Re: sheet resistance

The total sheet resistance will be decreased as similar as two resistors are configured in parallel.

sheet resistance

of course decrease
'cause it's parallel

Re: sheet resistance

There is no "effective sheet resistance" as such... You can view each sheet resistance material as a resistor, then the parallel combination reduces the effective resistance...

sheet resistance

I do not think the effective sheet resistance is important. Sometimes we lay a metal layer on the gate of mos which has a big w. because we want to reduce the resistance of the gate of mos. But we dont care of the value of it.
