ieee membership for publishing

do you need to be an ieee member to publish in ieee journals/magazines?
 

What is the value of publishing, to you? Because they will
demand to own the copyright to your work and give you
nothing for it. This is why I don't write for IEEE anymore,
other than Data Workshop papers that promote a product.
They can own 100% of nothing as far as I'm concerned.
And that goes double, for dues.

i'm a beginner it's imp for me 1st to be recognized that's why i'm publishing
later on if i progress good enough in the field i will certainly follow ur advice

for those of you following this thread,i just confirmed ieee membership not required for publishing
 

Nope. You can submit your paper on an IEEE-sponsored paper conference regardless if you're an IEEE member or not.
