Hi All

I am having netlist of one gds and I want to identify every instance in layout and netlist. As in netlist everything is in random manner and all nets also don't have names to identify. Any idea how can I identify without checking Labels because I cant edit gds to put labels.

Regards

Did you check if the layout instance names appear in the GDS file?

You might look for intermediate files which hold a mapping
of GDS instance to netlist instance, if indeed the names are
not simply duplicated. Depending on how and by whom the
netlist was generated, this may be created (useful for things
like cross-probing or direct-probing in a CAE tool set, for
example).
