applicatin on microcontroller....start on 4-bit, or 8bit microcontroller..

if u wish u can implement iEEE paper withyour own resource. U get papers from your lecturers who have membership in ieee.

Start with design of simple alarm circuits complete with power supply e.g. an intruder alarm, car alarm etc.

i m using proteus for simulation and making simple power supply and have to use 230-9v transformer how can i get it.

think of an idea..then ill try to help you..
try searching 8052.com,
i choose 8051 because that is where i am now...
and also its not that dificult....
you could have a cellphone that controlled your appliciances, interface it with microcontroller....there are lot projects about it. and it will be good for starter.

there are lots of books about power supply..
if you start from scrach...i think youl have some problem...
