I'd like to compare work conditions for ic designer in different countries - there were already several threads about salaries in different countries, so let's talk about vacation length now..
It can depend on the age of employee & years spent in the same company, so let's assume a newcomer to a company with 3-5 years of previous experience.
From what I know, in western continental Europe vacations are usually 23-30 working days + additional sick leave in case it is needed. I've heard that in US it can be as low as 10-15 working days!
How is it in Canada, UK?
