For later comer!
Consider the micromagic(h**p://www.micromagic.com)
It includes the schematic capture and layout tools.
But lacks spice tools.

Hi

Micromagic has a tool for spice. It is called
nst New Spice Tool. It is for viewing the results of hspice simulations

tnx

Hi,
Thanks! I mean simulation.(If I am still wrong. Please correct me)
BTW,the file in FM is missing, a member asks
me to upload it.But I am on a slow network.
May you please help to upload it to BB's FM
to help the late comers?Thanks!

jimjim2k : Can you upload Micromagic tools , I have send a e-mail but Micromagic say me that Juniper Networks is no longer selling or
supporting the Micro Magic Tools...
Or can you give me a link ?

Can anyone PM me where i can get the IC station? Thanks!

Hi geconom,

I just saw your post regarding my HDL problem.
I am trying to get the info from that f*p. By now I can not connect, but I keep trying.
Thanks.

Regarding the other tool, do not worry, I got it already.

Thanks.

Here is the list of missing library files (folders) for Linux IC-Station 2000.1-6

libmgc_ample_ic8_9.so
libmgc_bed_ic8_9.so
libmgc_cd_ic8_9.so
libmgc_core_ic8_9.so
libmgc_ddms_ic8_9.so
libmgc_eddm_ic8_9.so
libmgc_ftxt_ic8_9.so
libmgc_sc_sv_ic8_9.so
libmgc_uims_ic8_9.so
libmgc_vdd_ic8_9.so
libolh.so

Can some body please share these library packages?

Thanks in advance,

Hi,
I put micromagic 000427 for linux into -+eda=-/micromagic on BBftp. If you want it, you'd better hurry up.

Hspice & IC station

Hello ,

I m looking for Hspice and IC Station for Linux ,
where can i find it ?
Thanx

Hi Everybody,

Do you really want to use IC station ?
This software use not very friendly.
When you remove database to another directory, you need use "listref" and "chref" command or design manager to change database's path.
If you need this softwar,i can provide it.please tell me how to upload.

Best Regards,
Chyau

where can i a get the magma?

For P&R,We can use cadence's FE.It has linux release.

Almost all Syn@psys software have linux version.
and Almost C@dence software will have linux version at the end of June this year.
Synopsys software is much robust than cadence on linux

may be they can fix it in future.

.

That's a hasty conclusion !
Install a Synopsys in a linux platform is not a trivial task.

Astro from Synopsys is a nice tool too!

Schematic Capture: Design-Archtecture
HDL Entry: Summit, HDL Designer Series
HDL analyzer: debussy
RTL Simulation: LDV, VCS, Modelsim
Synthesis: Design-Compiler
STA: Prime Time
ATPG: Tetra-Max

Transitor Level Simulation: Hspice
Analyzer(Full chip): Hsim, Math TA

P&R: Magma
Layout editor: IC-Station, Panda2000
Layout Verification: Calibre, Panda2000
Extraction: xCalibre

------------
Synthesis: Design-Compiler ---> can change to Incentaia (Design
Craft ),so best than DC
STA: Prime Time---->can change to Incentia (Time Craft),best tahn PT
Transitor Level Simulation: Hspice -->can change to Mentor(Eldo) or
EverCad(AdiT) ,best than hspice
Layout editor: IC-Station, Panda2000 ---->can change Cadence(IC5.0) or
silicon canvas(Laker or leo),best than IC-Station,
Panda2000
Layout Verification: Calibre, Panda2000 --->can Cadence Dracula fot linux
All EDA tools was done for linux platform

In fact, i hate Synopsys's product style. It's hard to learn it, besides,
i think synopsys sw crash times more than cadecnde tools on linux.

Did Cadence transfered se (silicon ensemble P&R) to linux ?

OkGuy

I see silicon ensemble in the Virtuso layout menu, but where is the software?

Is Design-Archtecture a freeware?
Or is there anything free for schematic capture?
