IC AT89LP51ED2-20PU instead of IC SST89E516RD-40-C-PIE

Hi all,

Did anyone used IC AT89LP51ED2-20PU instead of IC SST89E516RD-40-C-PIE ?
These Two ICS are Pin to Pin Compatible. But I have to know whether it is code to code compatible or not.
My requirement is, I already have .hex file from SST89E516RD-40-C-PIE. I just have to program the .hex file to
that IC AT89LP51ED2-20PU .

Please let us know did anyone used this IC AT89LP51ED2-20PU instead of IC SST89E516RD-40-C-PIE or
any equivalent to IC SST89E516RD-40-C-PIE ?

You want to compare the datasheets, e.g. register maps. A t first sight both devices are not register compatible.

If you have source code, migration is piece of cake.
If you only have HEX file, than you must obtain SST controller. Simple as that.
