You may be better off with biamp or triamp. That is, split the audio signal into as many frequency bands as your speaker has drivers and power each driver with its own amplifier. This has the advantage of putting most of the harmonic and intermodulation products outside the radiating band of each driver. It also limits the number of spectral tones in each amplifier which can cause HD and IMD.
