Re: i want a software for runing windows programs in linux

Hi

There are many ways to do your task.

A. win4lin (workstation , terminal server)
1. h**p://www.netraverse.com

B. vmware (workstation, GSX server)
2. h**p://www.vmware.com

* -> t

Due to my experience these tools are very best.
search the net for each of them that you want to use.
BUT, remember: use workstation at first to gain
your experiences.

tnx

Why use two machine, one for win, another for linux ?

with the X-server softwar for windows, such "X-win32", "WinAxe", "XLitePro", you can work in the front of the windows machine.
Only monitor is needed.

vmware is better.
it has win version and linux version.

cxoffice is very good to run M$ office in linux.

so ... i have a problem with installing jetAudio,it can't be inasalled ,
i'm using RH 9 and i want to install "jetAudio 5" ???
can i install softwares ,or i can just running them ???
another question is i want to install a program that uses winsock and it can't find them in linux ,how can i solve this problem ???
Thanks

Check out h**p://www.frankscorner.org/ You'd be amazed at how much software you can get running using just wine. For example, you can get:
Photoshop 6.0, Photoshop 7.0, Office 2000, Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, Internet Explorer 5.5, Internet Explorer 6.0, Kazaa Lite 2.4.2, Nero Burning Rom 6.0.0.9, , Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, Soldier Of Fortune 2
Baldur's Gate, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3

Also make sure to check out his forums over at h**p://www.frankscorner.org/forum/
