i/o space registers
hi
could someone post a link to the io map of a modern computer, i mean for example a laptop based on intel GM45 or GME965 chipset?
On my motherboard, I am trying to find a free io address range (32 bytes) for some FPGA control registers on the LPC bus, which is not interferring with anything.
In the 210h...22Fh range i had some interference with the super io chip, at the 320h...33fh range it was interferring with the linux/windows graphics driver. On "interferring" I mean something goes wrong, for example read garbage data back, or display shows blue blinking screen, even if the BIOS guy says that there is nothing in that io address range.
