Dear all,
1. How can i adjust the spectre simulator for a specific phase tolerance?
I mean if i do AC sweep and i would like to see the phase response versus frequency, but i want the phase error to be less than 0.1 degree, how to do this?

2. How can i tell spectre simulator to plot the phase response from -180 to 180 degrees?
as for example,there could be a value of 500 degrees, which is 500-360=140 degrees.

Hope for help
and thanx in advance,
Mohamed Abouzied

I can't understand what you mean by "phase tolerance".

Do you mean a relation between "reltol, vabstol and iabstol" and phase of voltage in AC analysis ?

If so, "abs_phase_err_deg" is nearly equal to "(180/pi)*reltol".
For "abs_phase_err_deg < 0.1deg", "reltol < (pi/180)*abs_phase_err_deg = 1.74e-3".

This is not related to Cadence Spectre at all.
This task is "Post Processing" not "Simulation".
Don't mix up Simulation with Post Processing. They are completely different phase.

Use OCEAN function "phaseDeg()".
