I have a pc/104 board from ICOP that requires 5v @
880mA .I cant figure out how to take 6 NiMH batteries (1.2v
2000mAH) to that required voltage and current
Please help. Trying to make this controller for a robotics project.
you can use LDO regulator.
this type of (series) regulator can work 5.1...6 volts
and produce 5 volts output.
but for best result you must use more battries eg. 10
and use switching regulator.
for this you can use L4978 (ST micro.)
because it is simple solution and for you circuit specification is suitable.
for L4978 or similar switching regulator you can search associated company in your country.
