Hi,

I want to replicate the simulated absorbance of a metamaterial absorber result from the paper titled "Wide-angle, polarization-independent, and dualband infrared perfect absorber based on L-shaped metamaterial." Unfortunately, I can't get the same results as the published ones. I don't know what I'm missing. I have used a frequency-domain solver with unit cell boundaries in x and y directions, PEC at the bottom of the structure (Zmin), and an open PML boundary with a height of 10* (substrate thickness + gold thickness) for Zmax. I've changed the polarisation of the wave from TE to TM with different angle of incidence.
I joined my project, created by CST 2018, and the S(1,1) parameter result. Please help me; I'm struggling a lot with this simulation.
