hello everybody
i am a electrical engineering student. can all of you give me some link to the site
which teach about basic microcontroller and sample projects for me to practice?
thank for your kindness in advance

Hi,
First decide which you want to use, 8051, AVR, PIC, ST7, MSP430, or whichever.
My suggestion: AVR. Or PIC. I use AVR now in all my applications.
Download the datasheet. It'd be best if you could get hold of a book to teach you.
Choose which language you want. My suggestion: BASIC. Else C. I use BASIC.
Choose which compiler. My suggestion: mikroBASIC. Else mikroC. I use mikroBASIC.
Check out www.mikroe.com
Hope this helped.
Tahmid.

thank i found it useful to me
i am really happy to get those sites
i decided to use pic and the compiler is micro C because i have just bought a seriel to pic writer which enable me to send code to pic.
can everybody suggest me how to choose type of pic to fit kind of my project?

Hey check the microcontroller which is cheaper & useful for your application.
Genarally PIC is easy to use.

Chanchal
