hwo the Ampere calculation

if any where the specification of a street light is as following
12v 30watt
how much amperes will it be there required????????

Power = Voltage * Current

Current = Power / Voltage

So, in your case, current = (30/12)A = 2.5A

You may find that the current is not exactly 2.5A and varies. This is because the rated 30W is not the exact power and it may vary but will be around that.

If you use filament bulb, this bulb change resistance with filament temperature. Use ampermeter to see exact amperage, or if you dont have nothing use Ohm law.
