hspice toolbox in matlab

Hi Everyone,
I am using HSPICE(Unix) for a Graduate course. Since my school has some License issue with Avan waves I want to use Matlab for studying the waveform from the HSPICE simulation. I came across this HSPICE toolbox for Matlab at .

But than when I try to include this toolbox in Matlab I come across the following problem: C:\Users\Bhargav\Desktop\hspice_toolbox.tar.gz: Cannot create HspiceToolbox\loadsig.dll

I have stored the ziped file in my desktop thus it shows the path name of the .gz file.

Does anyone know the reason of this problem? Moreover is there any other way that I can see the waves except Awaves?

be root and try
#tar -zxvf filename.tar.gz
