When I simulated Large circuit by using Hspice 2005 in PC, I encountered memory problem like following message.

**error** the memory request exceeds the current available space.

so I simulated in Workstation but It does not finished so far.

in my thought, Hspice simulation in Workstation may be slower than in PC.
and I'm not sure that Hspice simulation in Workstation is correct ...

Is there anyone who have better solution?

sometimes, I encountered "no converge problem". I have no idea how do I deal with. I don't have ever experience about converge problem so far.

Hspice manual say that "Circuit that converge individually, but fail when conbined, are almost guaranteed to have a modeling problem"

but don't say how to solve the problem!

how about your thought?

thanks

Re: Hspice simulation trouble about memory and Converge prob

time is too long in transient or steps too big for dc sweep
