hi with this i attached the file page no 3/14 i got this doubt
 

how vs/8 is coming?

Exitation is Vs/4 with internal impedance of Zo.
Load is Zo.
V1 is nothing but voltage across Zo.
so the voltage across Zo will be Vs/8.
