hi i want to know how two end users communicate in mobile communication. what network elements are are used and what are the functions of each equipment?? can any one help me . thank u .

Re: mobile communication

Apart from the ubiquitous cell-'phone there are other methods.

There's h.f., not much used now but some military and para-military forces still use it, as do amateur some radio operators. There's v.h.f. and u.h.f radio too, again used by military and para-military organisations, amateur operators, taxi services, and private networks.

Military v.h.f. and u.h.f. networks will often use rebroadcast stations to extend coverage. They're a type of repeater. Repeaters themselves may also be mobile.
