In the same chip, there are two kinds of transistors . They are low voltage transistor and high voltage transistor and they have different design rule of layout.

Due to different process mask, i want to know how i do the whole chip DRC.

You may use an id-layer to mark high-voltage transistors.

Re: How to verify the DRC of different power supply transist

Though it can use a ID layer to identify the high voltage part, only a kind of DRC rule file can be read in to do drc verification.

do i need to do drc verification twice ? is it right?

If you use an ID layer to identify the high voltage part, you can check both the high voltage and low voltage part in a single run.

Hi Hughes,
What is this ID layer?

It depends on the technology file and drc rule file in use.
