How to vary resistance by varying voltage . Please share your views regarding this

JFET can be used for this purpose...... JFET is operated in the linear region and its GATE voltage is varied suitably to vary its resistance because the curve depends on the Vgs and so the resistance depends on the Vg.........

A mosfet in linear region is a voltage controlled resistor.

MOS RDS is the resistance varying with voltage
 
A transonductance Opamp (OTA) can be used as a voltage-controlled-resistor.
Take a look at pg. 11 of the National Semiconductor LM13700 data sheet.
