help me

hi everyone;

i want to know how can i use the <PIR Sensor> to build a motion detector and motion direction and how can i build it in general

thanks a lot

Re: help me

check at MCU i just some PDF files with those projects!

It involves a PIR sensor, a fresnel lens and some basic "change in voltage" monitoring circtuit to make these. Some companies like Princeton Taiwan make chips to do all the electronics. Best way is to buy a cheap one and open to see what is done.

Re: help me

And also depends on the type of design, if it is for alarm detection you
have to use a counter to count movements of the object, example:

It detected you but no alarm yet, It is waiting for another 2-3-4 or 5
movements to validate the intrusion and then, ALARM!!!!!!!!.

That's how these alarm sensors work today to avoid false alarms.

If you be more specific, we can help you more.
