Hi, Forget its a different chip, if you do many projects and different chips you will see that they are all the same. Simply study the datasheet of the PIC16F54 which is the basis of all PIC 16 and 18's and you will only have to add additional preferals. The 8052 also has this, many flavors and versions and I can tell you the pic's differ less than the 8052 chips between different vendors.
