How to update the chip images (FW) on 1661 logic analyzer?

Looking for info on how to update the chip images (FW) on this, and any info on adding a HD or CF card (mine has neither but does it have IDE I/F?), or fixing the floppy. Some posts suggest the floppy is not a standard 1.44 Drive.
