RF circuit Design

Dear All,
I had to work for some RF Circuit, which includes PA, LNA, MIXER etc

I am very new to this field, i started reading book by "RF Circuit Design by Ludwig"

Is it essentialy to understand MAXWELL Electomagentic Principles, is there any simple way to get those concepts?

Is there any other method to go start RF Design Works?
Which will help to understand and work efficiently?

Re: RF circuit Design

In my opinion you can start learning about RF Circuit Design, jumping over Maxwell principals and equations. You can learn about this later.

There are hundreds of RF books published, but I would recommend these ones:

Complete Wireless Design - C.Sayre
RF Circuit Design - C.Bowick
RF Design Guide - P.Vizmuller

Re: RF circuit Design

Hello Sir/Madam,

Do i need to switch to RF Circuit Design - C.Bowick from Ludwig.

i wanted focus on RF Transmitter, where i have digital data to be converted to analog using ADC?

What factors i should see for this?

Is there any standard architecture for OFDM Transmitter section.

Re: RF circuit Design

For RF circuits, read thesis available on internet..They are very helpful if u have a particular rf circuit in mind like rf front end etc

Re: RF circuit Design

Hello,

Can you please send me some links of thesis. i will read it.

my interest is in the spectrum of wifi and wimax
