hi!!!
i want to transfer thumb impression wirelessly using microcontrollers!!!
so can u guide me how can i do it !!!
which microcontroller i have to use!!!
how image will be saved in it and how we will b able to send it!!!

hi!!!
actually i m doing work on electronic voting system !!!
firstly from module i will take thumb impression and then interface that module with microcontroller where thumb impression will either b stored parallely or serially aand then will transmit WIRELESSLY that thumb impression for authentication either voter can cast his vote or not or either he already casted his vote
and that thumb impression will b recieved at receivers end where main central computer containing database of already saved thumb impressions and then it will send acknowledgemnt bits back to transmitter either voter can cast his vote or not!!!
now tell me which microcontroller i have to use and how to send data wirelessly!!!
if u have any refrence site den tell me also even for 1 phase.....
now tell me wht to with it!!!

You need to give more information:

For the wireless, which kind of protocol are you familiar with ?

On the PC side:

You can use USB or WLAN which nowadays most of the computers have.
Infrared is a more complicated because the transceivers need to be aligned or in range

Or are you going to design your own interface ?

Second: Are you familiar with microprocessors ? Which ones ?
