Can anyone explain what's the standby current?
And what't the standby power consumption?
How to test them?
In postlayout simulation, we can plot the current curve of VDD,and measure the RMS value of the current( I(rms)), and calculate VDD*I(rms)=P(power)
So,what's the meaning of P(power)?Dynamic power consumption or standby power consumption?

Thanks.

what's the standby current?
The standby current means flowing out of the GND pin at idle mode
what't the standby power consumption?
the standby power consumption means power dissipation of ckt at idle mode. power consumption equate Vin*Ignd or Vcc*Ignd.

when the system is in sleep mode, then the current consumed from the power supply current is called standby current.
