How to test analog devices using my waveform generator?

Hello, I asked some times ago what can I do with a waveform generator (for my project diploma). Finally I choose to do some ATE (Automated Test Equipment), so I want to ask you if you cand give me some documentation about how to test some basic analog circuits (filters, amplifiers, etc) using my waveform generator (it is capable also of arbitrary waveform).

i think u need aother instruments beside ur waveform generator like digital voltmeter oscilliscope
