How to temporarily pause the simulation in HSIM?

help about HSIM

Dear HSIM users:

could anyone teach me
during a long simulation run,
how to temporarily pause the simulation
allowing me to take a look at the waverforms,
then continue the simulation.

Thanks in advance!

Just make ctrl^C and Hsim will save the waveforms and enter in interactive mode. To continue the simulation give the command "cont".

Transient time is 309477.455000ns

Exiting on Thu May 11 11:16:00 2006

and then when I type >cont
unix respond as

cont: Command Not Found

It seems HSIM didn't enter interactive mode,
is there anything I missed???

You need to enter just one ctrl^c. If you give more than one ctrl^c the program will exit as you get it already.

Check the manual about the interactive commands. They offer a great deal of possibilities.
