any1 know a method of summing more than two digital signals on a digital design basis ?? i know that OR & XOR gates perform modulo-2 addition (two signals only )

but am searching for any other method

thanks for all

How to do this depends on your requirements. For example:

1. Are you summing multi-bit (i.e., N bit-wide) values or are you just summing discrete bits to produce a multi-bit sum?

2. How many inputs are there?

3. Must your adder be combinatorial or can you use a clocked state machine?

4. How fast does the adder need to be?

Please specify your requirements!

you put adder circuit of required bits...................simple

thanks alot dsp_forall for your reply but what i need is summing method that can be reversed i.e we can reconstruct each signal again like the summator used in CDMA there's a method also arithemetic sum but bitwise anyother way ??!!
thanks for all.
