For the start I highly recommend to download the free evaluation version of the CodeVision C compiler from the www.hpinfotech.com
It has a lot of examples, an excellent code generator wizard, programmer tools and terminal. After you start, you can buy then the unlimited version of the CodeVision, it is much cheaper compared to other software tools.

Hi, vdaniel. It seems, you are wrong. I use CodeVision too(www.hpinfotech.ro). It is really cool, but it works with AVR microcontrollers, not ARM processors.

Good Book for beginers
