i need some guide lines about how to start learning Automation ?

if any have good books or just links ,any thing good would help.

Although you may not want to use the Parallax Basic Stamp… they are one of my favorite educational resources online.

If you are using PICs, you should also check out https://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1469&filter1=function (They have some great appnotes on a huge multitude of topics.)

sorry for being rude, but doesnt automation normally refers to PLC? n why is PLC here? get a simulation software. automgen or something..

automation doesnot refer to PLC, PLC is one of the components/systems used in automation
