I know that the time it takes to simulate an antenna varies with the complexity of the model but how can this speeded up? Any tips or tricks?
Thanks

Re: HFSS simulation time

If you're lucky, you could use symmetry planes to reduce mesh volume.

Use CPU with 2 cores and enable multicore solver in HFSS.

Add more RAM into the PC.

HFSS simulation time

I was thinking more along the lines of within the software. Symmetry is an option, any other suggestions?

Re: HFSS simulation time

To rfmw

Where do you enable multicore solver in HFSS?
Is it also available in v10?

Regards

Re: HFSS simulation time

Yes I believe it is:

Tools - Options - Hfss Options - Solver
