Transcient Spike Issue

Hai,
The micro controller(C89C51 F020) section of my equipment for a compressor switching equipment is verymuch is troubled by the transcient current during compressor relay switching..Any transcient arrestors are available..or any other solution??
Pls get me a clarification..

hi,

u can use an integrator which can limit your spike
