Re: pcb mounting procedure

Hi,
Without screws there are several ways to fix something like PCB, eg.rivets, glue, spacers, pins...
However what is "mechanical box" ?

Re: pcb mounting procedure

Mechanical box means a nickel coated aluminium plate.

Mechanical box means a nickel coated aluminium plate.

So, If you need to solder the PCB to that box, without screws, you can easily use a glue. There are even conductive-glue, if you need that joint to be conductive.
What prevent you from using screws ?
