A switched capacitor DC DC converter.
I want to calculate the power dissipation of each switches.
How to simulate the transient power dissipation in DCDC converter with HSPICE?
Thank you.

You may use
.probe I(M1)
to probe the current or
.probe P(M1)
to probe the power dissipation.
Use
.meas tran pm1 avg P(M1)
to calculate the average power dissipation.

Re: How to simulate transient power dissipation in DCDC conv

I'm confused by this simulation results.
I used this statement to emulate an ideal switch in Hspice
gs1 in 10 vcr pwl(1) con1 0 0v,10meg 1.0v, 1
the simulation results are:
igs1= 6.9435E-05 from= 1.0000E-05 to= 1.0000E-04
vgs1avg= 2.0040E+00 from= 1.0000E-05 to= 1.0000E-04

pgs1= 2.0003E+07 from= 1.0000E-05 to= 1.0000E-04
The average current and the average voltage seems good. But the average of the switch gs1 is 2.0E7.
what is the problem?
