i want to simulate a wilkinson power divider, but i don't know how to put a resister into it. could you tell me how to do?

Hi,
Please follow me:
1) Create an 2D-rectangular object in any where that you want to place resistor, exactlly such as a CHIP resistor .
2) In boundary assignment menu, choose Lumped resistor and assign your object to this, in this way you must specify your resistor value (100 ohm).
3) You must define a line form Top of object to Bottom as current line.

Sincerely

Thanks,
I've been doing to learn how to build a resistor as well,
This forum is awesomw....

KMPA

Does he have to specify the resistor value (100 ohm)? I think the value depends on the problem that he want to solve.

Dear KMPA, thanks a million! But i want to consult you a question about your above post "3) You must define a line form Top of object to Bottom as current line. "
why we must assign it? The current direction is arbitary, isn't it?
